Little Barn

Before the restauration and the change of purpose, it was a summer kitchenette and a smoke room. Now, it turned into a charming room with two original single saxon wooden beds and a shower bathroom.

Gardener’s Cottage

At the beginning it was a stable for small animals. Today it has been transformed, with a bit of flair, in a 2 levels accommodation. At the ground floor you will find a living room with a kitchenette, a four stool table, a two persons sofa bed alongside and a shower bathroom. In the attic, the bedroom consists in two original single saxon wooden beds.

Atelier

The Atelier is the smallest, but also the most intimate & romantic of our cottages. What in the past was a wood shelter, today is a little bedroom with an elegant double wooden bed together with a shower bathroom.

Dominic Attic, Casa Mare

Casa Mare is a typical Transylvanian Saxon country house that was build, according to the witness oak beams, in two phases. The construction was started in 1775 (by Johannes Bertles)  and ended in 1814 ( by Johann Schmidt). It has two apartments sharing  the same house entrance.

The first apartment is Saxon Romantic and is situated on the first floor. It consist in two rooms (each of them furnished with Transylvanian antiques and two single authentic Saxon wooden beds), one kitchen and one shower bathroom. All this are coming together with a private garden.

The second apartment Dominic Attic, situated on the roof floor is accessible by climbing a wooden stair from the house main entrance. It offers two rooms, also furnished with lots of antique decorations. The big one has a elegant king sized iron wrought bed. The smaller one has a single authentic Saxon wooden bed and a sofa for two persons. In the Attic you will also find a shower bathroom.

Bruno’s Barn

Bruno’s Barn is located at the hill side of a 1775 Transylvanian Saxon property, right under an orchard of old apple trees, and was redesigned to host small cultural or private events.


Tâmplarilor, Sighișoara

Part of the “Klein & Klemenzy” House and for some history aficionados the second oldest still standing building of the Citadel (just take a look at the fresque with the year 1576 painted on the corner wall), this historic accommodation is situated on the Carpenters Street, very close to the Tailors Tower, who provides the back entrance to the Citadel (and engulfed in a massive fire in 30.04.1676) and the Citadel Square.

This apartment is furnished with Transylvanian antiques and offers one queen sized wooden bed in a main room with WiFi, cable TV, Air conditioning, DVD & CD player, a kitchenette, a smaller room that has a sofa for two and a shower bathroom. For relaxing purposes, you have your own sunny terrace bordered by old vine. And finally, as a special treat, staying here gives you the chance to mingle with the locals.

Stradela Cetății, Sighișoara

Dominic Boutique, Stradela Cetății is located at the foot of the Citadel Hill, under the Tinsmith’s Bastion, at the first level of a XVII century building, on a cobbled alley almost hidden to the eye, linking discretely the Clock Tower to the cafe’s & resto’s of the Lower Town. Charged with a romantic and private atmosphere, the room is decorated with antiques, offering one king size iron wrought bed and a bathroom with bathtub. A special feature is the suspended backyard garden, with terraces cut down in the Citadel Hill, full with vegetation and astonishing views over the Lower Town rooftops and to some of the hills surrounding Sighișoara. The building’s attic is home to a small coffee shop “Café Imanol” and an art & decorations gallery “Saxon Romantic”.

Café Imanol & Saxon Romantic, Sighișoara

Based in a coquette attic, right under the Tinsmiths Tower, here you can choose between having a coffee, tea or some small bites and snoop for your favorite old book, painting or decoration to take home with you. Don’t miss the terraced garden climbing the Citadel Hill with the amazing views over Sighisoara’s Lower Town tiled rooftops and some of the nearby hills. Not to forget, we offer hosting for small cultural or private events.
